| Looking for sheet music... | | I've been trying to find sheet music for the Broadway musical Sweeney Todd. I have seen the "vocal selections" book, but that doesn't include all of the songs I wanted. I especially want a copy of "My Friends."Do you know of anywhere that sells Broadway music books and might have Sweeney Todd sheet music in stock? I have already tried eBay and amazon.com | |

| Free online sheet music? | | Can you guys reccomend any free websites that offer PDF downloads of sheet music? I want popular pieces rather than classical ones. I have a few that I go to now, one being http://www.my-piano.blogspot.com and also http://www.pianolicious.blogspot.com
. If you know of any other good sites, can you please share with me? Thanks!
| | Sheet Music Song Books with our without Cds | | I have a few sheet musics and a few Song books, most of the latter with Cds, except for one that I do not have a Cd with. I find the Cds good because then I can see what the accompaniment is since I can only get to practice a couple of weeks before the concert with the pianist. I do have a spinet organ but I know that most singers usually have a piano in their house except my husband does not want one. So I plan to buy a piano keyboard that is not the full 88 keys.
So I was wondering whether you prefer to just get the song books and sheets without the Cds or whether you want to go all wild and buy the song books with the Cds included even though you are on a budget.
I mean in this economy, is it worth it or not buying the song books with the Cds. Oh and you all who are not singers can answer if they would or not had you had the talent.

| Why sheet music not in my area the East end of the city | | I live in the East part of my city. On Friday, me and one of my friends who happens to be a pianist had to drive all the way to the West part of the city, almost an hour's drive to get some sheet music from a store that sells all types, popular and sacred. Now I was asking her as we went on our way, why isn't there a store closer to where I lived? I mean just because our city is now affiliated, it is Winnipeg, Manitoba, by the way, do they have to put all the music stores on the West end as if we in the Eastern have absolutely no musical and singing talent whatsoever? I mean I can order it online, but I do not know what the sheet music looks like, whether I can sing it, or whether my friend can play it?
Do you have the same problem in your city? I can understand small towns having that problem but cities?
| | Where do you get your sheet music | | I am planning to sing a solo for our Church spring concert, and I suppose there are those who have to deal with copyright issues, the accompanist needs the piece, the soloist needs the piece and even if it is on public domain, copying the piece yourself will not do.
So when you need a piece for a performance do you prefer to drive or walk to a store to get it, or do you prefer to order it online?
