| John Denver - partly popular in my house | | We've had the John Denver CD playing in the car for a couple of weeks now. Cary and Naomi like some of the songs, but Dearra isn't too excited about John Denver. "Take Me Home Country Roads" came on and when it was over, Naomi asked me to play it again. I told her I like it too, in fact it's one of the very first records I ever bought. Dearra says, "it must be really old then." After that we got in discussion about country music and Dearra allowed that she does like it sometimes but "with women singers who have good voices." Anybody else with me? Or are you with Dearra? Or no idea what I"m talking about? lol | |

| Experiences related to John Denver/his music | | Hi, I'm collecting stories about experiences people had around the time or after John Denver crossed over. I already have hundreds of stories not just from fans, but many came from people who had forgotten all about him but who felt an urge to listen to his music again in/after 1997. I wonder if there are more people who had/have spiritual experiences, dreams, coincidences (which are really synchronicties), etc.. Please, only serious responses -- I want those who actually had these experiences feel encouraged to share them, and to see that they're not alone (and maybe think they made it all up). THANKS! | |

| How many of you liked John Denver and still do?? | | I have to say that John Denver has always been one of my favorite singers. His music was so relaxing and soothing. No matter what, he always made me smile. When he died, I was devastated. I couldn't believe it. He is truly missed by me. I have many of his CD's.
